Hamill Creek Trail Upgrades

The Earl Grey Pass or Hamill Creek Trail, an old historic trail located in the Purcell Conservancy Park required trail upgrades to re-open. The Robson team worked with BC Parks and SNT Engineering to bring the trail a new cable car, 4 cable car repairs, a timber bridge and a boarwalk and trail tread upgrades.

The logistics on this project were challenging as the work spanned 30km along the Earl Grey Pass. Multiple work camps were set up along the trail to accomodate workers as they completed the work in areas that were 5 hours away from any services.

  • All materials brought into site by helicopter.

  • This project was completed in 1 month.
